The West End Hotel - Contemporary Room with Queen Bed

Great place to stay! Clean, comfy and wonderful location. Great customer service! Positive: The West End was a nice Hotel/AirB&B!! The rooms were cute, comfy, and clean. I loved that they offered a small coffee nook with a microwave, bottled water, and even a gift of microwavable popcorn and a bowl to eat it from. The bathroom was rather large, and I enjoyed the light-up mirror. The parking garage was the best. There was always a spot near the back door, and it was gated, so we felt like it was safe. We didn't use the large living areas downstairs, but we did enjoy the kitchen and ice machine daily. We also used the hot tub on a couple of occasions. The staff and front desk were very helpful and friendly. Very quick to help us with anything we needed. The text line was great, and we often got a quick response!! We will book this for our next work trip. It was a great area of downtown St. Louis and very comfortable for a week-long trip! We had a grocery store, a gas station, and a Walgreens right around us. So we could grab anything we needed. Negative: The bed was not my favorite. I adjusted to it over a few nights, but it was the hardest memory foam bed I had ever slept on. The shower was very, very small. I only needed to wash my hair a couple of times during our week-long stay, but it was not enjoyable at all. The toilets also had very low water pressure, and everything took a couple of flushes. I do wish that the room had some more lighting.

We loved the West End and would definitely day again if we are in this area again! Positive: Location was not far from the conference I needed to be at every day, very easy to find and really liked that there was a parking garage. Staff was very friendly, room was visibly clean upon my arrival. Negative: bed could have been softer but was still comfortable enough for a a good nights sleep. Hot tub was not available later in the day, I must have missed info on that but it was not a deal breaker. overall there was not much I didn't like!

Positive: Staff was very friendly and helpful, accomodating towards my needs! Asked for more towels on occasion, very prompt and quick to help. Any and all questions were answered in a timely manner, would recommend a stay here. Negative: Perhaps in the welcoming email, it can tell you about facilities/services offered or not covered. They have a nice kitchen downstairs if you want to cook, and a weight set and eliptical machine I was unawares of. Other than that, it was peachy.

Positive: Parking lot was very secure. You needed a code to get in or out. Negative: Missing towels in the room. We had to go to front desk for more.
