The West End Hotel- Queen Bed with Futon

Positive: Appreciate the personnel letting us check in late and the cute design. Negative: No sheets for the futon/ couch bed which was not a pullout bed and uncomfortable. Half of it is the leathery back with buttons of a sofa. I guess staff thought we were a couple and would both sleep in the main bed.

Positive: I really enjoyed this place. It's got a communal, co-living/co-working vibe which I really like, yet my room was well apportioned enough that I didn't really make much use of the co-space (I did opt for a slightly larger room as I needed a desk and had to work from there for 2 days). Had the weather been better, would have loved to have used the outdoor space. There was a problem with the room on arrival and the woman working the desk that night really busted her hump to resolve the problem. I appreciated that. Wifi worked well for a couple of mornings of video calls, no problems. Hope to stay here again. Negative: I realize that the things I'm about to mention are what help make the place affordable, they are things that I noticed. While I think that the furnishings in the room are good quality, the installations/facilities themselves can have a slightly budget feel ...the walls seemed solid (didn't hear the neighbors) but the doors were really just a suggestion and most sounds from the hallway made it through. Floors were vinyl and had that DIY feel. You get the idea. Windows didn't open at all and it was difficult to regulate the humidity in the room. Lots of signs about people not smoking week on the property...yet there were always people in the parking garage smoking weed. Would still 100% stay here again. :-) Oh, and my biggest pet peeve: ROKU IS NOT CABLE (but, again, I really appreciate the price point...so, don't change).

Positive: Room was very clean. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Negative: Rooms were a little on the small side. If it wasn't for GPS I don't know if I could've found it. It's kind of tucked away. Still a pleasant experience.
