White House 1 Bdrm Apt- Unit F

The apartment was lovely. However,

I loved the antique style of the house which was clean and smelled wonderful. There are good amenities and the location is ideal for basic necessities. The host was accommodative, responsive and staff were kind. The only complaint I have is the house is next door to a college dormitory so my sleep was often disturbed between the hours of 2400-0400. I was sleep deprived while commuting to my place of employment at 0500. I personally prefer quieter locations and understand this was out of the host’s control but overall a good stay, thank you.

Good location, okay bed, subpar communication Positive: The location of the White House was prefect for our visit to St. Louis. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. It was a short drive to the Forest Park area as well as the downtown area. I really liked how well the temperature control worked. When we turned the heat up it warmed up fast and was very comfortable. The check out process was extremely easy and did not require much on my end. Negative: The description provided by the host could use some updating- mainly the parking situation. They do provide complimentary parking at a gated garage but it is a bit of a walk. The parking garage directly behind the building is public parking and was FREE. The description says it is $15 a day but that was not true for us. Communication could be better. It took 3 hours of communicating back and forth to successfully give all of the info that they needed. Sometimes our phone calls and messages were not responded to for upwards of an hour, if at all. The place itself was okay. We were only in there to sleep so we did not need much, but the bed felt like an air mattress and the sheets were very paper-like and very loud when you moved. We also had 2 decorative pillows and one actual pillow although there were 2 guests. I would recommend bringing your own pillow and possibly blanket too. The water pressure in the shower was not so great. Overall the stay was okay. It was not the most comfortable bed but the convince of the location was exactly what we looked for.
